Youth weightlifting specialises in the lifts; snatch and clean & jerk, and the accessory lifts and movements which benefit this progression such as squats, pulls and jumps using technique equipment and progressing in weight.
Your children doesn’t need to be the next Olympic Champion or need to compete, they can just enjoy weightlifting. They can be a part of Youth whether they want to do weightlifting as a hobby, to reap the benefits for another sport.
We have a lot of youth members wanting to develop strength and power for other sports such as rugby, football and gymnastics.
If your child wants to pursue weightlifting competitively, they will be given the opportunity to move into our Development Squad initially before moving up into our Academy.
Classes must be booked on through your Team Up account. If you do not book on, you may not be able to attend. Classes are limited for quality coaching and safety. Classes and opening hours may vary due to attending members competitions as coach.
Commitment of 2 months. Contracts are rolling on a 1 cycle basis after the original contract of 2 months. If you stop paying or leave before your original contract is up, the remaining cost is due in full at that time. Once your contract is up, Pride Performance Gym has a 30-day cancellation notice. When cancelling, a 30-day notice period will apply to your account. A customer will be required to give at least this number of days notice prior to their membership ending. For example, if this is set to 10 days and a customer cancels their membership 5 days before their next billing cycle, they will still be billed in 5 days but not after, and their membership will be valid until the end of their next billing cycle.

This membership entitles the purchaser to a full or partial discount on events/classes offered by the business. Some classes/events may be excluded from this membership. Unless otherwise noted, this membership is non-transferable. Your payment details will be securely stored in our system for the duration of the membership. This membership cannot be cancelled early. The full 2 months must be purchased to receive the rate listed.
